Local Law #6

A Public Hearing for Proposed Local Law #6 of 2025 AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING THE TOWN OF WATSON ZONING LAW TO ESTABLISH REGULATIONS FOR COMPRESSED AIR ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEMS will be held at the Town of Watson Municipal Office on November 12, 2025 at 6:30PM. An opportunity to be heard in regard thereto will then and there be given to all persons interested in this proposed legislation. Copies of the proposed legislation are available at the Town Clerk’s Office during regular business hours.

Preliminary Budget

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that pursuant to Section 108 of the Town Law, the public hearing on the Preliminary Budget for fiscal year 2026 is to be held on
November 12, 2025 at 7:15 p.m. at the Town Municipal Office Building, at which time any person may be heard in favor of or against any items therein contained.
The proposed salaries of the following Town Officers are hereby specified as follows:
Supervisor - $22,880.00
Councilmen X 4 - $4,680.00 each
Hwy. Superintendent - $59,000.00
Town Clerk - $26,040.00

A copy of the Preliminary Budget has been completed and is on file in the office of the Town Clerk in Watson, where it is available for inspection by any interested parties during regular business hours. Also, to review and accept fire contracts between Lowville and Town of Watson and Croghan and Town of Watson for fiscal year 2025. The Town Board will hear any other matters that come before the board as well.
